A shared project becomes a place.
A town square, a market, a bridge between homes or a shared farm can give your group its first project. Limburgia combines Minecraft survival with a towns-and-nations system for shared land, membership and responsibilities.
You can build independently, join an existing community or work towards founding a town. You do not need to lead a nation to enjoy the server.
Join an existing town or start your own.
Open /tangui to explore the Towns & Nations menus. The town browser helps you find settlements and apply, or you can ask a leader for an invitation. Use /tan join <town> when accepting a town invitation.
Founding a town involves choosing a name and your first capital chunk. Check the current creation cost, location restrictions and available claim capacity in the menus before you commit. The full towns guide covers the detailed steps.
Understand the land you share.
Minecraft chunks are 16 by 16 blocks. Additional town claims normally sit beside existing territory, and your rank, treasury and available capacity determine what you can claim.
Use /tan map to inspect nearby claims and /tan claim town to claim your current chunk when your role permits it. A teleport bookmark or a building outside claimed land is not a town claim.
Town ranks control building, containers and other interactions. Private properties within a town can have their own owners, prices, rent and access rules. Read those rules before sharing a house or buying a plot.
Keep the treasury ready for the next project.
The town treasury supports shared costs such as claims, upgrades and taxes. Leaders and residents should agree on responsibilities and check ongoing charges before expanding.
/tan deposit town <amount> moves money from your wallet into the town treasury. Trading and gathering can support a project, but membership alone does not grant access to every private property or container.
Grow into regions and nations.
Regions bring towns together, and nations connect regions into a wider political community. Territory menus cover membership, ranks, treasuries and diplomacy.
Alliances, forts and conflict are also part of the system. Read the server’s rules and your town’s agreements before joining a conflict; do not assume territory permissions remain the same during war.
A small town is already a complete way to play. Give your group a manageable first goal, then decide together what should come next.
See the world before choosing a home.
Watch the spawn tour to explore Limburgia’s architecture and workshops. The skills guide explains the progression you can develop while gathering, crafting and building.
